Chapter 97

The Devil's Parliament

By Khurram Ali Shafique

The Devil is furious. He calls his parliament and five of his advisors discuss the new trends that are threatening the Devil’s hold on the world.

Democracy and fascism are not a threat at all. Advisors tend to agree that Bolshevism is the most serious threat to the Devil but the Devil admonishes them and commands them to concentrate their energies against Islam.

The Devil’s Battle Plan

Pick up ideas that sapped the energies of the Muslim nation in the past:

  • Did Jesus die on the cross or was lifted up alive?
  • Are the Divine Attributes connected with the Divine Essence or not?
  • Does the Second Coming imply the coming of Jesus of Nazareth or some other Christ-like reformer?
  • Were the words of the Quran created or are they primordial?

Gain the confidence of Muslims and then engage them in useless theological discourses. Even exhort them to become more dutiful in their daily prayers as long as you can divert their energies from the task of civilization.

This is a new conspiracy that was revealed to the Poet in 1936.
